Precisely how does it work?

Very simply an emergency worker, or anyone caring for you, accesses your Alertag information either via the Internet or a mobile phone.

When they access your In Case of Emergency (ICE) info there are two levels of security:

1. Serial Number accessible by entering the number on the actual Alertag;
2. Password protected.  When you travel we suggest you leave your password with the main contact person listed in the Serial Number accessible area of your site.

There are no worries about identity theft because you are in control of precisely what information is available to whom.  And obviously you would not want to post any financial information on your Alertag pages.

Who needs Alertag?
